He is popular because of his versatility, talent, style and popular actors in the Kannada film Industry. And he married with Kannada actress Bharati on 27 February 1975 at Kuchalamba Kalyana Mantapa in Bangalore. He has two adopted daughters Keerthi and Chandana. Keerthi is married to Anirudh, an upcoming actor in the Kannada Film industry. Vishnuvardhan has one elder brother and four sisters. But at last he passed away at the age of 59.
Tomorrow late night one of the stalwarts of the Kannada film Industry Vishnuvardhan died of a heart attack in Mysore. He was really big star because his popularity referred to as the Phoenix of Kannada cinema. In 2005 Vishnuvardhan was awarded honorary doctorate by Bangalore University.
